JOB PROFILE:
The Licensed Aircraft Engineer will be responsible to perform aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with applicable procedures, regulations and requirements. He/she will be issuing Certificate of Release to Service on Air Mauritius aircraft as well as customers’ aircraft. He/she will be working on shift system and may be required to work at outstations. He/she will be responsible to supervise the work performed by technicians and assistants and ensure required standards are met. He/she will work in an effective manner and contribute to maintain the dispatch reliability to acceptable level. He/she will provide guidance and on the job training to trainees, assistants and technicians, among others.
PREREQUISITES:
Holder of a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, in the category B1 and/or B2 issued either by the Mauritius Department of Civil Aviation or EASA.
Plus
A valid Aircraft Type authorization document as certifying staff in the Category B1 and/or B2 with at least one aircraft type from the following; ATR72, A320/A321, A330, A350 issued by a Maintenance Organisation approved by the Mauritius Department of Civil Aviation or an EASA Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation.
