Operations Control Duty Officer
Cyprus Airways is looking for dynamic and motivated candidates to join our Operations Control Centre in Larnaca.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support, brief and assists the Flight Crew in flight preparation and in the safe conduct of each flight and provide the relevant information and (as applicable) documentation required.
- Flight Planning of all flights and coordination with all relevant ATC units and authorities.
- Monitor all the relevant weather and NOTAM information as applicable to Cyprus Airways flights.
- Control all activities related to the preparation and operation of the Cyprus Airways flight schedule.
- Conduct Flight Following/Tracking of all Cyprus Airways flights
- Monitor and assist on any matters related to services provided at outstations.
- Monitor the CFMU (Central Flow Management Unit) and all relevant Aeronautical information as relevant to flight operation.
- Assist with tasks related to crew rostering.
- Assist with tasks related to scheduling.
- Processing and archiving of all post-flight documentation and reports.
- Monitor Flight Crew reports and takes the necessary action as applicable.
- Activate and apply any relevant emergency procedures and lease with necessary authorities as applicable.
- Adhere to and implement all policies, procedures, and processes as outlined in the relevant company manuals.
- Update and monitor Operations Control related libraries on-board the aircraft and in Pilot briefing rooms.
- Perform other tasks as may be requested or assigned in the course of duties and responsibilities related to and falling under the scope of the Operational Control Centre.
Qualifications & Experience:
- The minimum educational level of successful completion of a University Level Degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent command of the English Language, at reading, writing, and aural levels. The knowledge of the English Language must be established via one of the following methods:Excellent command of the English and Greek Language.
- High School English Level with a grade of 80%
- Successfully completion of English Language standardized tests (IGCSE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)
- Any University Level Degree from an institution at which the courses and examinations have been conducted in English.
- EU Citizenship
- Good knowledge of computer software and use (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Valid Vehicle Driving License
- General medical fitness for duty (a medical certificate may be requested).
- Clean Criminal Record
- Previous experience in a similar position is not mandatory, although experience relevant to the position will be considered an advantage.
