Oaklands Global are currently seeking multiple UK CAA-certified B1 Engineers with type ratings on the B737 NG for an initial month-long contract position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on various maintenance tasks while gaining valuable experience within a dynamic environment. This is an outside IR35 contract position with a pay rate of £50 per hour. Accommodation is not provide and you must bring your own tools. Shift Pattern is 5-5-4.

Key Responsibilities

• Aircraft Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on B737 NG aircraft in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshoot faults, and resolve technical issues on aircraft systems and components.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with UK CAA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Safety Protocols: Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, maintenance teams, and support staff to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
• On-the-job Problem Solving: Diagnose complex technical issues, implement repairs, and ensure that all rectifications are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any other duties as required to support the aircraft maintenance operation.

Requirements

• UK CAA B1 License
• Type rated on the B737NG - ESSENTIAL
• Proven track record in aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting, specifically on commercial aircraft.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure high standards of service are met.
• Own transport may be required as accommodation is not provided.
