We are seeking a Fleet Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Senior Fleet Engineering Manager and the Engineering Team Leader. You’ll build collaborative relationships with Fleet Engineers across key areas, including Airframe, Avionics, Cabin Systems, Maintenance Programs, and Reliability, while liaising with system and equipment manufacturers to support continued airworthiness, enhance aircraft availability, and improve system reliability. This role involves overseeing easyJet’s Continuous Airworthiness obligations in line with EASA Part M / Part-CAMO, with a strong emphasis on optimising safety, reliability, and value in our operations.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Fleet Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, cost-effective, and efficient operation of the easyJet fleet. This includes collaborating with Fleet Engineers across Airframe, Avionics, Cabin Systems, Maintenance Programs, and Reliability, and coordinating with system and equipment manufacturers to maintain airworthiness and maximise aircraft availability and system reliability. Key duties include analysing component performance and reliability, setting up and managing manufacturers' part numbers and life-limited components in AMOS, and managing aircraft configuration trees. Additionally, you will support both internal and external audits, represent easyJet in maintenance working groups, manage fleet transition and end-of-lease queries, and oversee component engineering meetings. You’ll also manage technical assistance requests and be ready to assist with additional tasks as required by the Senior Fleet Engineering Manager or Team Leader.
What you’ll need to do the role:
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised degree in an Aircraft/Aerospace Engineering discipline or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence and possess knowledge of EASA Part M / Part CAMO functions, as well as airworthiness regulations and legislation. You should have experience working in a Part M / CAMO office environment, ideally with experience in Component Maintenance. AMOS user knowledge is preferable, along with extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications. We are looking for someone who is motivated, committed, and passionate about Continuous Improvement, with a flexible approach and adaptability to change.
