BRA are in search of MOC controllers
Braathens Regional Airways are now in search of Maintenance controllers to become part of our technical department based in Stockholm-Arlanda, Sweden. This position refers to the Station Manager.
Daily Duties (examples and not limited to)
- Act as a Maintenance supervisor to the inhouse CRS staff and contracted CRS personnel.
- Continuously update and monitor the status of the aircraft fleet, Including Deferred Defects and MEL’s.
- Secure quality of written Defects in relation to: Manpower, skills, facilities, tools, parts, documentation, time etc.
- Continuously update the Shift Log regarding operations and occurrences during the shift, e.g. troubleshooting in progress, aircraft status etc.
- Keep contact with the external maintenance providers and report diversions to NPCA and Director of Maintenance.
- Assist internal and external production with troubleshooting.
- Inform OP and update Amos event tracking regarding technical delays and liaise with them to reduce operational impact.
- Responsible to ensure that all planned work is carried out in good time and report any disruptions to the CAMO department.
- AOG recovery handling
- Project lead on complex AOG’s.
Responsibilities
- Secure repairs according to procedures and capability of the work scope.
- Perform maintenance in accordance with the maintenance program.
- Establish and record maintenance rectifications during hangar visits.
- Perform release to service according to procedures.
- Issue EASA Form 1 according to procedures.
- In absence of technical services (Planning) assure completion and correct operator records.
- Support purchase department to order spareparts and follow up on delivery.
- Inform the Operator of necessary incorporation of critical tasks and add to the AMP if necessary.
- Report detected and rectified maintenance errors.
- Perform shift/task handover according to procedures.
- Notify inaccuracies and ambiguities to the TC-holder.
- Perform issuing of one-time off authorization according to procedures.
- Perform exemptions for aircraft or aircraft component maintenance tasks according to procedure.
- Act as Project leader/SPOC on AOG situations
- Update Amos AOG events continiously
- Perform concession according to procedure.
- Liaise with any manufacturers and other maintenance working teams according to procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering/TC-holder as necessary for any required assistance.
- Organize and control the daily aircraft status meeting with all relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in mandatory meetings.
- Liaise with subcontractors in aspects of interior repair, ground handling, fueling, de-icing, booking of hangar, cleaning etc. as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Part 66 License preferably with ATR72 and Airbus 320 series rating.
- Minimum 5 years CRS experience on similar aircraft type.
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Analytic skills and the ability to stay calm in a hectic work environment.
- Fluent in English
- Driving license.
- Pass the Swedish police authorities background check and hold a valid permit to work in EU.
