We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) aircraft.

Corporate Flight
Bell Textron is seeking a Captain to crew a Citation X and Citation X+ in support of its operations at Textron, Bell, and Textron Systems. This role offers exciting opportunities, including professional development, and rewarding challenges. The person selected will join a team of passionate, high caliber aviators, maintenance and operations staff and should be a self-starter, team player, and professionally driven.
The captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of company aircraft while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations, rules, directives, company procedures, and aircraft flight manuals.
What you’ll be doing as a Captain - Fixed Wing Aircraft
- Act as Captain/Co-Captain on Bell Textron, Textron Systems and Textron aircraft.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft.
- Maintain currency on assigned aircraft.
- Maintain knowledge base on equipment, and government regulations affecting flight operations.
- Ensure that you operate aircraft within SOP established in company manuals as well as adhering to all legal requirements that are relevant.
- Actively participate in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure Safety remains the highest priority.
- When assigned a Captain role, supervise other pilots, or contract pilots as required while maintaining the highest level of morale and professionalism.
- Creating a positive work environment, providing excellent oral and written communications in your role.
- Driving for team success by recognizing and recommending opportunities for improvements.
- Coordinate with leadership with respect to scheduling time for training, vacation, etc.
- Have the ability and willingness to work irregular schedules as assigned.
- Represent the company at all times in a professional manner.
- Be open to further career development opportunities within Textron business units.
- Perform other ancillary duties and special projects as assigned, expect to spend some time in the office environment monthly (as flight schedule permits).
Skills You Bring To this Role
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Commercial Pilot Certificate/Instrument Rating or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine)
- Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate or the ability to obtain one prior to start
- Experience as a flight crewmember, with a working knowledge and practical experience of FAR Part 91 or FAR Part 135 operations
- Minimum of 3000 Total Fixed Wing Flight hours
- Minimum of 1500 Multi-Engine Turbo Jet Flight Hours
- Minimum of 1000 Multi-Engine Turbo Jet PIC Flight Hours
- Experience with corporate flight operations
- Knowledge of Safety Management System Implementation
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred
- 5 years’ experience as a Captain in a Corporate Flight Department
- Previous Leadership role in a Corporate Flight Department or the desire to develop into a leadership role
- 6000 Hours Multi-Engine Turbo Jet Hours
- 3000 Hours Multi-Engine Turbo Jet PIC Hours
- International flight experience
- Strong record of development and success in the Corporate Aviation Function
- Type Rated on CE-750, or similar aircraft
