As Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (CTKI) you will be responsible for the supervision of all Theoretical Knowledge Instructors (TKI) and the standardization of EASA ATO theoretical training within the Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) Group.
Tasks
Your main tasks include:
- Ensuring that syllabi and exams for theoretical knowledge training meet all applicable requirements
- Developing and coordinating new training concepts
- Conducting training and standardization for performance evaluation of theory teachers and ensuring compliance with all requirements
- Updating training materials in accordance with current regulations and best practices
- Ensuring that teachers and students comply with legal requirements and internal standards
- Harmonizing work processes and documentation in the Operations Manuals (OM) and Training Manuals (TM) across all locations
- Analyzing feedback, developing suggestions for improvement and implementing measures to optimize training standards
- Technically managing the TKIs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Requirements
We are looking for dynamic and competent personalities who want to help shape the demanding and varied challenges within EASA ATO.
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Multiple years of experience as a TKI.
- Experience as a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) or Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) is an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of training organizations, internal regulations and aviation-specific laws and regulations (in particular EASA Part-FCL and Part-ORA)
- Significant ability to work in an interdisciplinary, intercultural and goal-oriented manner
- High level of decisiveness and willingness to take responsibility
- Willingness to travel at home and abroad
- Very good conflict resolution skills and resilience
Framework conditions
Recruitment is via a local employment contract with LAT OPS DE, LAT AT or LAT CH.
