We specialize in Initial Type Rating and Recurrent Training programs for Pilots in Airbus and Boeing fleet.
We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) at our Sharjah office.
A Theoretical Knowledge Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical training, ensuring trainees acquire the foundational knowledge required for their pilot licenses and certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ground training classroom sessions for Initial Type Rating and Recurrent training Programs on Airbus and Boeing Fleets, in compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, GCAA).
- Instruct Standard operating procedures on cockpit procedures trainers and other flight training devices.
- Develop, update, and maintain course materials, lesson plans, power-point presentations, and question bank.
- Ensure that training is delivered in accordance with state regulatory authority and organizational standards.
- Establish and maintain a highly effective training and learning environment.
- Stay updated on changes in aviation regulations and incorporate them into teaching materials.
- Ensure training records and documentation are accurately maintained.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new or revised training systems, methods, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with flight instructors and training management to ensure seamless integration between theoretical and practical training.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and teaching effectiveness.
- Perform administrative duties such as record keeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, quality assurance, safety, security, and maintenance of training equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a ground training instructor in Airbus/Boeing aircraft system.
- Experience in ATO / FSTD organization is useful.
- Excellent presentation ability.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, normal abnormal and emergency operating procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently.
- Experience of working directly with regulators, Certification Bodies and other Standard organizations.
- Proficiency in English Language and presentation skills.
- Should have own transportation arrangements
- Previous experience of instructing ATPL subjects at an approved training organization is preferred.
- Certificate of Instructional Techniques / Train the Trainer is preferred.
