Beond is seeking a Certifying Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and certifying scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft. You will collaborate closely with maintenance teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and oversee repairs to uphold the highest safety and reliability standards. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and compliance with aviation regulations.

 

Responsibilities

• Issue Certificate of Release to Service after completion of maintenance on aircraft/components.  
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Perform maintenance on components within scope of approval.
• Complete all required trainings as provided by the organization and maintain competency.  
• Assign and supervise work performed by Technicians.
• Carry out receiving inspection.
• Liaise with Customer and MCC with regards to defects, deferred defects and scheduled maintenance to ensure efficient, smooth and high yield operation.  
• Ensure compliance with MOE, SOPs, Civil Aviation Regulations, and other relevant standards.
• Ensure maintenance records are completed.  
• Proper handling and management of aircraft parts and components.  
• Be available for Customer with regards to technical issues.  
• Report occurrences as required by internal procedures, Maldives CAA and Customers.  

• MCAR-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License or equivalent (ICAO License) with A320 Family (CFM56 and V2500) endorsed on the license
• Completed an MCAR/EASA-147 A320 family (CFM56/IAE V2500) level III type training
• Minimum 5 years certifying experience on A320 Family (CFM56/IAE V2500), and current on type (6/24 months)
• Valid EWIS TG I, FTS Phase I and II, MHF and SMS, and Regulatory training (EASA/MCAR-21, 66, 145, PART-M and Part-CAMO) will be an added advantage
