Operations division's task is to execute Finnair's flight operations safely, economically and in a reliable manner. Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes.

We are now looking for

CERTIFYING ENGINEERS

to perform maintenance work provided to them independently and coordinate and instruct mechanics or subcontractors working on the same aircraft.

Main responsibilities:

• Works as a certifying engineer, performing the work provided by team leader, shift leader or management. Is authorized to work independently and issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) or EASA FORM 1 after completion of maintenance.
• Coordinates and instructs mechanics or subcontractors working on the same aircraft
• Support the working team in achieving the targets defined
• Creating and completing workorders
• Completing work packages
• Creating Maintenance Safety Reports and Bsafe reports when necessary
• Finalising maintenance documents according to company instructions

Our expectations:

• EASA part 66 licence
• Good working skills with several years of experience in aviation environment
• Capability to work under high pressure
• High level of technical knowledge and the ability to read and understand technical information
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Understanding aircraft maintenance principles and production processes
• Problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Teamwork and communications skills
• Sufficient written and spoken English
